Mark Bajus
Director, Group Benefits.
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
Mark entered the financial industry in 1986. Initially trained as a product support specialist, Mark advanced rapidly into a brokerage management position, where he won the national award for top brokerage manager in 1989 for a major insurance company. With an interest in the Group benefits side of the financial business Mark formed his own company in 1990. Three years later he would join his brother and father in what would become a family legacy.
Paul Bajus
Director, Pensions and Corporate Wealth Management.
Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS)
In 1988 after completing the Canadian Securities Course Paul worked as the manager of retirement and investment services of a major Canadian life insurance company. With a focus and a passion for the money side of finance he formed his own company in 1991, two years before the family merger. Paul has been a member of the Executive Investment Club, Executive Life Club, and President’s Council for a major insurance company.
Jason Bean
Senior Associate, Group Benefits
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), Group Benefits Associate (GBA)
Jason is a very highly qualified individual and a valuable asset on our team. Jason is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and holds a B. Comm. from the University of Manitoba, with a major in Actuarial Mathematics. With experience as an Actuarial Analyst for a global benefits and pension consulting firm, Jason has a strong technical understanding of pension and group benefit programs. In addition, Jason has experience as a Commercial Real Estate Account Manager for a major bank. Jason’s experience and knowledge enable BFP to maintain the high level of service our clients expect.
Rosella Manantan
Senior Administrative Coordinator, Group Benefits.
Rosella has been with us since 2006 and she is responsible for all administration and supports the group benefits side of the business. Her background as a Customer Service Manager and her detailed knowledge of group benefit plans, along with her pleasant outgoing personality, make her a great asset when supporting our clients.

After graduating from UBC’s Sauder School of Business with a BComm specializing in Finance, Connor worked for the Government and a large investment dealer before deciding to join the family business in 2022. He has completed his securities course and is licensed to sell mutual funds. He is currently working towards his life insurance designation. Connor works with Paul & Laurie on the individual wealth and insurance side of the business, as well as helping out our Group Retirement clients with plan member education.
Laurie MacLeod
Administrative Coordinator, Individual & Group Wealth Management.
Laurie joined our company in February 2012, and supports the wealth management / financial planning side of the business. She has many years experience working closely with a team of Financial Advisors and knows what is needed to manage the administrative side of our client’s investment portfolios. Her pleasant demeanour and attention to detail makes her perfect for this role.
